Winter solstice is a festival that full of memories. In Singapore, I asked for a bowl of tangyuans because I wanted to grow one year older. In Shanghai, I asked the guard how to make red bean paste to put inside the tangyuans, and finally I did it. In Kuala Lumpur, I made tangyuans and had DSLR session with university mates after work during Christmas Eve because the next day would be a holiday. In Taiwan, I enjoyed the free ginger tangyuans from a university canteen stall owner who has similar diet principles with me. 

How about my next winter solstice? I looking forward to it.

Another work, another satisfaction. 

With good soup base, dough drop soup is always delicious while warming me in the cold weather, and the chaos. 

With tomato, there is always a good soup base to create. 

So tomato is the key ingredient that bring up the soul of the soup.

Power shortage

Area-wide power shortage happens without notice since 21:57 till now. Even Digi internet service is just recover.

A surprising visit, and sweet

My third uncle, aunty and their third kid visited us today. It was surprising because they didn't informed earlier, and coincidentally we stayed at home today. It was good to catch up with them. I found they liked plants as well. They spend morning time as the physical education time in an orchard. My cousin even plants some herbs in her apartment balcony. And she prepares her lunch boxes by herself during working days as well. So nice of us 😂

The mugwort, Brazilian spinach and sugar apple seedling were three plants followed them went back to Melaka. Also this 70+ yo uncle had climbed up a ladder to pluck a papaya. I am still happy now for been able to share plants with people who appreciate the value of plants🌱  

I am happy all the day actually, Thank You. Take a good rest, have sweet dreams😴💭 and then turn dreams real 🍀

That day will come

I have plucked a coconut for the first time.

Both of the coconut water and meat are fresh and sweet naturally. Like it. It looks ugly but I am fine with it because this is my first time to settle a coconut. Dare you? I am preparing myself.

Cute, painful, restart

Today is a wonderful day. Somehow I decided to visit the orchard in the morning and found a durian triplets. They were really cute. I was thinking about its implications, following meeting the 33 chilies and a chillies triplets. Initially my lucky number is 1. Now something changed? Then got some spared time to tidy up own things till the evening. 

What did Martha use for the cleaning works? I hate chemical cleaners. Too much cleaning works with just water is also bad. The wounds are painful again. Sleep to recover, to restart.
