The hot cincau (grass jelly) I prepared in the afternoon somehow became my dinner. For me, cincau and agar-agar are the same as the only difference is one made from the herb but another from the seaweed. I found I never know what the cincau plant, Cyclea barbata, looks like. After searching online, I am quite surprised that I always see this kind of wild-grown heart-shaped vine in the garden. Are they the same? The coincidence is real.
