Cincau
The hot cincau (grass jelly) I prepared in the afternoon somehow became my dinner. For me, cincau and agar-agar are the same as the only difference is one made from the herb but another from the seaweed. I found I never know what the cincau plant, Cyclea barbata, looks like. After searching online, I am quite surprised that I always see this kind of wild-grown heart-shaped vine in the garden. Are they the same? The coincidence is real.

The tv black box can not function so the classic "Huangmei Tone" 黃梅調 movies start playing publicly in the evening. Romance of the Western Chamber《西廂記》is playing now. The script is among the compulsory readings for an undergraduate studying Chinese Literature but I have never seen the movie.

The fifth rose bud, HPV & Mpox
This is the fifth rose bud on the same plant. I have never seen so many buds occur on it at the same time. But I know the reason. It is because I water it and make sure it gets enough sunshine every day, besides clearing the dried dead branches and pulling the grass in the pot.
It is difficult to snap a clear picture of this fifth bud from my previously chosen bigger angle. After many tries, I still failed to get a good one. Then I change to this near angle, the bud becomes so clear instantly on the screen. The composition is also nice.
Be proactive to try and work out for the ideal result.

In the end, we must ask ourselves: What does it mean to nourish a nation? Rose cures
The rose bud starts to bloom. Those new leaves look like protecting it from the rain and sunshine. That's good.

By understanding the underlying cause of diabetes, then we know that diabetes could be cured by diet changing, especially cutting down / off processed food. The so-called "genetic factor" is referring to the similar eating habits and lifestyle practiced in a family.

No shortcut
A pack of "mung bean lily kelp soybean millet porridge" is the target to settle today. The soybeans have definitely been processed or they won't be able to be fully-cooked together with other ingredients. This is an instant version of so-called healthy food targeting those looking for a shortcut for health. In a bag, there are seven packs of different combinations of grains and dried foods. Every pack is labelled, from Monday to Sunday. So everyday you just open one pack and pour all of it into the pot to cook in the boiled water, then imagine you become healthier after one week. I remember another pack was a joke because it contained the red beans and goji berries that needed different time to be cooked. When the red beans were cooked, the goji berries had already disappeared but I saw some red threads in the porridge. It is difficult to separate the mixed grains by types. This is a big bug that will make the cook unhappy. The manufacturer definitely doesn't understand the food, and the customers definitely never cook. The unhappy cook/customers are unlikely to buy it again. Meanwhile, the soybeans in today's pack have been processed earlier. That means the quality control is not stable either. This is supposed to be the company's only product. No wonder I never knew the brand. And of course this is not bought by me.

Job
I flip to the Book of Job randomly. Of course I have no idea about this person. The first thing that comes into my mind is "work". How come there are necessary works being unpaid and cannot be classified as jobs?
Then Steve Jobs. Many family names are related to the jobs their ancestors did. There are Smith, Carpenter, Wright, Webster... So, "Jobs"? Doing many kinds of jobs?

It was a journey for Job and could be for everyone, anyone as well. You lose and complain. You respond and understand. It could happen both outward and inward, known or unknown. You got to go through, for all flesh would perish together, and man would return to dust, and this is a lifelong spiritually-paid job.

Rose, sugar apple and agar-agar
I cut down two rose plant branches and put them randomly into the same pot, maybe one month ago. Now both of them have new growing leaves.
The mother plant has a new bud to bloom.
Open your heart to be seen and checked. I don't want worms.
I made it transparent. Both the texture and flavour are fine. Its colour is acceptable because cocoa powder has been put inside. Practice makes perfect. It's real.
