The past four years were definitely difficult for those who hold tight on the truth and right. Yet they have survived healthily. May justice be served in the human world too. If not now, then later. That day sure will come. The sad thing is till now I have not seen any Asian priest discuss it in public. One touched this topic slightly in a talk but I wondered how many of the attendants have been aware of this. Would it be good if His words are not for the real-world but just for the after life?

Incomplete Rainbow (9 Dec 2023)
After passing my car key to the mechanic, I got in the centre supervisor's car to go back to my home that was 39 km away. As intuition demonstrated its power, I looked up at the sky and saw the rainbow! Was I onboard Noah's Ark?! Well, I knew the order was reversed - But it could be too, as I just survived from a rear-end shunt during my way to meet Him!
It was not mine.

That was strange enough as it was not raining earlier at all. Later, the sky also showed its beauty at its best too during the whole way back.
It was the second road accident encountered within a year. Luckily both of the counterparts were willing to bear their responsibilities. Yet the better one was I was calm enough to recover emotionally thus had been able to sense the good things around after the incidents.
I do not know what an incomplete rainbow means. Is it a symbol of "an incomplete identity for the relationship with Him"? If so, then that is still okay, because we should not rush, but should be calm for important things. The more important it is, the tougher the way is. Fine wine takes its time.
And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come:
I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds,

Meaningful Meeting
Many people are busy meeting but only a few of those meetings are meaningful.

Baked Garlic Tomato Pancake (23 Nov 2023)
For no reason - maybe just because I have seen the oven too frequently - I decided to bake a garlic tomato pancake at noon yesterday. The ingredients included medium protein wheat flour (normal flour), sea salt, half of a garlic, a tomato, some black sesame oil (because the olive oil was finished in using...), and water - that's all. Without the direction of an oral, hand-written, printed or online recipe, I cooperated quite well with the ingredients which were all in "agak-agak" portions. After mixing them together successfully, I sent them into a hot room at "agak-agak" hot temperature - as long as they are cooked, then it would be no problem at all for me to eat them - I always think so.
You can see it looked quite like human food from the picture. Although the heart-shape was obese and a little bit irregular at its left side, it was still a heart-shape. So this finished product was in good shape.
From the taste aspect, the garlic tasted like garlic, the tomato tasted like tomato, the flour tasted like textured pancake, so it was flavoursome.
Conclusion: This baked garlic tomato pancake had both inner and external beauty, as it was good-looking and good-tasting. Furthermore, it was an artwork, since it was done by the comprehensive reactions and responses of human feeling, imagination and creativity. And, not forgetting too, it was an open-ended experiment that should be implemented into the Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Food Science syllabus in all schools worldwide.
Good job for such a first attempt!

Raindrops from the eaves 簷前雨 (16 Nov 2023)
During secondary school time, I liked Liang Wern Fook's works, including prose, poems and songs, very much. One of his prose titled "Raindrops from the eaves" 《簷前雨》. Later 簷前雨 became the names of his newspaper column and song too. When it is raining, I always recall this.
The silver-colored oil palm leaves' spine look like the beautiful quills.

A soul in the cold morning
This morning is like a morning in the winter. The coldness woke me up and reminded me of the Taiwan universities hostels that do not have a heater system.
Although I was born in a month that was supposed to be snowing, both my physical default and personalization settings prefer a warm environment. I like the sunshine, I like the lights, I like the warmth. I can do anything under the sun but just sit still in the snow. The coldness is an invisible jail that separates me from the world.
In a silent cold morning, that merely like there is no others in this world, I am wondering how my soul will leave here. Nobody will know this happens because no one is around. (Does the falling of a big tree in the unknown forest create a sound?) Will I be absolutely free to fly away to meet the one I want to meet? Will the person be afraid to see me as a ghost? If I say, "I am not a ghost, but the soul of HSW", will the person believe in me? Trust is not easy to gain and to give. Most people need many many years to build up their trust in others. It is a very big honour if someone known for a short period trusts in you. Same with the vice verse. Certain people may bring you a feeling of comfort and you just feel trust in him/her for everything. The time length of knowing each other is not a determining key factor here. However, in most of the situations, people doubt first.
The body is the house of a soul. Humans leave their houses to work in the daytime. Why not if the souls leave their bodies in daytime too, and later come back in the evening? They will find their soulmates easier then, by surpassing the restriction and interpretation of physical outlook. But people say too, "You will not treasure the things that come easily."
People say this, people say that, people say endlessly. But what you think is the most essential. I don't know why but the drops flow from my eyes. (Does the falling of a big drop in an unknown situation create a sound?)

The Melur (07 Nov 2023)
This afternoon when I was driving out from the TMPoint office gate, I found there were some small white flower plants that had normally been planted at the main road safety islands. The white flowers just looked fine, being an exquisite creature in nature, although they were pretty small. But I never have an opportunity to get it, as it would be dangerous to go down from the car on the main road to go to the safety islands, and also due to the belonging issue - it was not an issue for me to ask for a flower plant branch from a stranger, but should I call the municipal council for a permission to get a roadside white flower plant branch? Well, actually I may try it out, although I can imagine most of the people will say this is a weird action.
Anyway, the main point was I found it was the one in a million chance of having it! So I did a reverse and embraced the guard's curious eyesight. I told him the reason and he was happy to lend me a knife to cut it. Of course I would never forget to ask for the plant's name. He said they were planted by the cleaners so he was not very sure about it, but most probably they were "melur" or "kemboja" as the flowers were fragrant.
When I restarted the car engine and really wanted to thank him again, unluckily he had left the guard house. However I will always remember this branch came from the TMPoint office. In the case I lose memory, I think I will be able to check it back here. By the way, after a simple check, I think it is a melur, not a kemboja.
I am really happy for such small things - happy to have a melur branch, happy to know its name, happy to meet a guard who was willing to share, happy to have a chance for hoping its growth, happy to imagine the flowering scenario!

The sweet hearts of bitter gourd
When the sweetness comes from the bitterness,
The toughest means the worthiest.
The porridge of life
Some grey mushrooms, a tomato, a chilli, a bitter gourd, some pucuk manis leaves, some green onions. The last four are homegrown.
Leftover rice, sea salt, black sesame oil.
Water.
Sweet, sour, spicy, bitter.
Salty, oily, clear.

The Calamansi (Limau Kasturi)
These are two very healthy and tough Calamansi (Limau Kasturi) plants, proved by their strong stems and lush green leaves. One is unseen due to the capturing angle.
I started to take Calamansi juice everyday to increase the intake of Vitamin C since the past man-made pandemic period. More exactly, I cut Calamansi fruit into four portions and put them into my water bottle. Honestly, compared to the plain water, this superb sweet and sour taste also motivates me to drink more water. I have done this till now and I am fine. There are no any side effects that occurred after natural Vitamin C overdose.
I ate the seed together with the water as the seed will become softer to bite, much better compared to the Pulasan seed indeed. One day, I thought, "This is a seed. Why not plant it? Then I can have the fruit everyday, instead of buying the chemical fertilized grown fruit from the wholesale market." This idea fastened my falling speed into the rabbit hole of planting.
Long story short, these two plants were born during that time. They were the survivors from the seeds planted in a pot. When I moved into my own place, I transferred them into a thick packaging bag for temporary handling, and was looking for a good location to make sure they will have a nice ground to develop. However, I was busy then and unable to enhance the constructor-destroyed soil quality. The worst thing is they were near to death when I left them for months. I put them under the sun but it was seldom raining during that time. When I was back there and saw their look, I decided to bring them along wherever I went. So they keep staying in the packaging beg till today. The touching point is that they start to grow more and more leaves after I keep watering them at least once a day.
The temporary handling always becomes the permanent treatment for passive and reactive people - Am I one of them?

The plants and a country walk (19 Oct 2023)
Today (19 Oct 2023) is a day full of plants - but which day is not?! While my younger sister introduces her name means the fragrance of plants at dawn - as what I remind her - I should not forget that I am the Rosa family at dawn.
The first plant I notice is a half ripen papaya. Normally people will pick it down from the tree if it is seen like this or it will be eaten by the birds. However I want to have a full ripe one because it would be more delicious. So I will pick it tomorrow. See whether Nature will side with me!
"You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand." - I understand. It will be more delicious.
Taiwanese call the status of "ripen on tree" as 在欉熟(zài cóng shú). 在 means "on", 欉 is "tree" in the Hokkien dialect, and 熟 is "ripen". I remember the Taiwanese farmers always mentioned their fruits were picked when ripening on trees, especially in the summer season. But could you differentiate between those picked ripening on trees and those picked unripe but produced with certain artificial ripening agents?
Later I found the bitter gourd seeds sprouting, after their one week of underground striving efforts.

There are some lily-like wild plants nearby. Honestly, I always keep them alive when conducting the bush and grass massacre action because the flowers really look nice. This world is full of unfair issues as human practice discrimination based on their preference.
Two roses are blooming. They look stunning in real life but plasticky in the picture. Sigh, not photogenic indeed.
Another three-leaved clover with purple flowers. The shamrocks on the other side are the species with yellow flowers. Would a bold visual contrast of purple mixing yellow be created if I plant them together? I know the combination of bitter gourd's yellow flowers and butterfly pea's blue flowers is superb.
After I sent my car for repair because it had been crashed by someone (well, the driver will pay) weeks ago, I have a precious time to do a country walk in the noon. The repair garage, my primary school and my home are all located besides the main road. I once walked to the school so many years ago. Yet I almost didn't do so after leaving primary school. The buildings and the wild plants are the most capturable objects when walking along the roadside. Did the staff of Jabatan Penerangan do this too? I should ask Mr Ng then.
So, on the way, I can easily recognize the Malay houses simply by their surrounding of the trees, flowers, grass or any plants.

Arriving at the kampung (village) where my primary school is located.
There are many cars in and out as it is the after school time. During my days, the main transportation vehicle was motorbike.
The Feng-Shui masters will say the view-blocking of main building front side by the pillar should not happen. The photographers will definitely agree on this.
I remember that the basketball shooting boards were wooden made during my time.
Spotted another wild plant with three-leaves but I am not sure whether they are from the family of shamrocks too...
花徑不曾緣客掃，蓬門今始爲君開 - That is the poem comes across my mind when I see this abandoned government building. It was either the hostel or the office of Jabatan Pengaliran dan Saliran before. There are many abandoned old government buildings around. This is really a severe waste. These buildings should be reassigned for other purposes, such as becoming the community centres. But unluckily this does not happen here. People tend to build new concrete giants and call this a development. They create and develop concrete ruins actually.
I see unknown wild purple flowers. The buds look like the geniuses in cartoons.
When I arrive at home, I notice that there is a pair of ripe guavas on the tree. This is because I have cleared the yellowish dead leaves from the tree. When there are only green leaves, the yellowish ripened guavas could be seen easily.
A bitter gourd flower fades on the shamrocks.
